Diorette Ring by Christian Dior

Here are more photos of the Diorette ring by Christian Dior. A comment on one of my previous blog posts claimed that the price of these rings range between $9,000 and $15,000. Ouch. Although if you read the “ingredients” of the ring, you can understand why: White gold, diamond, aquamarine, amethyst, pink sapphire, yellow sapphire, tsavorite and lacquer.
Lacquer? How much without the lacquer?
Why do I love this line of jewelry so much? I love the garden-esque feel of it with the ladybug and butterfly within the floral surroundings of the prized jewel. It’s a chunky piece of jewelry heaven. I wish I knew how to make jewelry – I’d re-create one of these rings in a heartbeat!
I personally am not a big fan of that particular ring. I’m not the garden type of person, though.

Just back from Place Vendome. The Diorette is the the most amazing ring I have tried. It makes all the other rings in Paris so uninspired. It is so fresh and unusual. It also fits beautifully. Personally I love the amethyst which looks so incredible… its laquered red ladybird took me straight back to my childhood. The lighter gem rings looked somehow more like toys. Just need someone unconventionnal enough to offer me one instead of a classic diamond cut!
Hi I live in France and have tried them as well. The bigger models are huge and perhaps difficult to wear, the smaller -still rather big – are more wearable. The price is of course mainly defined by the brand name of Dior and of course the “ingredients” are really not worth it, believe me. I am sure that within not too long we will find lovely lookalikes for less than half the price. If someone finds them please report! I would love to hear it as well!!Thanks
Has anyone seen a Dior Ring that in a shape of a flower? It was sold exclusively at neiman marcus, and mine was stolen, and I cannot find it anywhere online! Its copper colored and in shape of a flower and says Dior on it… Please help!
I absolutely adore Diorette rings…I’ve been obsessed with them since I discovered them. I found out Kenneth Jay Lane and Juicy Couture came out with lower cost replicas, which are awesome.
Saw this ring on ebay.. considering buying it cuz its sooo pretty! Stumbled upon it while searching frantically for the juicy ring. i thought it looked prettier than the garden party by juicy couture.. though it isnt from any name brands and had dragonflies instead of lady bugs on it. which was why i was reconsidering about the bids..
