900 calories in one sitting

For lunch yesterday, Whitey wanted to try out more of our menu items. He sat a lunch in front of me that, by my calculations, was around 900 calories.

That’s one entire hour on the treadmill running at full speed at a 7% incline.

No thanks.

I did, however, eat a slice of some of the best pizza he’s ever made. This oven is a miracle – it makes perfect pie every time. We sprinkled fresh basil on top of it, and both were awed by how great it was.

Then we sampled the desserts. SAMPLED, I said. Our Mud Pie is ridiculous, and the cheesecake? Fugg-ed-a-boudit.
