Dara Hatcher fundraiser

For my Bend friends –

Please consider attending an auction on Tuesday, March 11 to benefit Dara Hatcher and her son, Dante.

Dara is only 30-years-old, and was recently diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. She has already undergone three surgeries to remove this aggressive, malignant tumor. She is a single mom, raising her 8-year-old son Dante without child support. Until she was diagnosed, she worked as a bartender at a local golf course in Bend. She is now facing months of radiation, chemotherapy, and physical therapy to regain her motor skills.

The Deschutes Brewery is donating the Mountain Room, and volunteer staff will be working during the auction to raise money to cover Dara’s COBRA payments, rent, and living expenses while she gets her life back on track.

Please also consider if you have items that you can donate: Artwork, jewelry, gift certificates, haircuts, car washes, golf certificates, dance lessons, lift tickets, furniture, pet supplies, etc.
