Miner’s Jubilee

The 30th Miner’s Jubilee celebration was this past weekend in Baker City, and filled our small town with visitors. It seems that most were former residents that make the trip every year for this celebration of Baker’s historic gold-mining past.

The city park was full of tents displaying art, jewelry, and tons of food booths.

We wandered through the park on Friday, then avoided that side of town for the rest of the weekend.

The Chamber held a duck race on Sunday that ended at the bridge near the library. I love our library. It’s so cool, quiet, and has free wi-fi in the reading room.

Baker is so pretty during the Summer.
