Fast Pizza Update

We’ve set a date. Wednesday, October 10, 2007.

I’m Scared. To. Death.

T-shirts and stickers? Check!

Pint glasses? Check!

Leaking roof? Check!

As my friend Shannon would say… there’s always something.

Our first food inventory order arrives in 30 minutes. I’ve never seen such a huge grocery bill! Wowza.  Today, we hook up our internet, and pray to the computer Gods that we can figure out how to network our two Point-of-Sale computers. The two stations have to “talk” to each other, and also the two kitchen printers. We’ll see how that goes.

We also meet with out Coca-Cola rep to order all of those nifty bottled drinks that we’ll sell alongside our regular sodas and beers. We’ll pick up some wine to make sangria with, and order the bottled beers as well.

Whitey is going to make his first enormous batch of dough to have it ready for Friday, when he’ll train the kitchen crew to toss dough and make the perfect pizza.

I should have some amusing photos of that soon. 🙂

Keep positive thoughts that we’ll figure out the computers – they’re the only thing freaking me out right now.

Congrats!!!! Sounds like it’s all coming together (minus the leaky roof!)

Hope all goes well on the computer hookup today and I can’t wait to see pics of Whitey teaching everyone to toss dough.

LOVE the pint glasses, you know we’ll be buying one when we come up there (whenever that is)

Woot! Wish I were closer – I’m oddly good with POS systems and would have been happy to help. Good luck – you can do it!!

I can’t wait to buy a pint glass too!
