Tuesday, I woke up with a guilty feeling of relief that it was Tuesday, and typically the slowest day of the week.
Wednesday brought more of the same, and then Thursday? Ridiculously busy!
Last night (Friday) proved that we could be even more busy, and this morning, I’m soaking my feet.
It’s a great feeling to have such a great crew working right now. We haven’t had any mistakes in the kitchen, the front staff is constantly running and our deliveries are getting out on time.
Well, all but two.
One of those deliveries was to a car dealership. Whitey took it, and was one.minute.late. Literally one.minute.
They told him that he was late and didn’t tip.
Coincidentally, we’re in the market for another vehicle. Hmmm. I wonder why I mentioned that.
It’s been a fun week. One of our vendors was dropping off kegs and mentioned that it would be the last busy week before it “dies in Baker”.
What – do people stop eating and drinking after Labor Day? I guess we’ll see.
