Willing to Wait

To those customers that we had tonight that were willing to wait…

Thank You.

We haven’t had a Sunday that was this busy in forever, and we certainly didn’t expect it.

Whitey and I noticed this morning (at 7 a.m.) that we had about three new inches of snow on the ground. We’re typically slow when we have this type of weather, and so we both looked forward to watching some football on the big screen in the dining room.

Yet, lunch was ridiculously busy… to the point where we had a moment where we ended up locking eyes and sharing that look of “WTF?”    I took a few deliveries during the afternoon, manuevering the mini-van through the new snow, and sliding through the side streets in 6-inches of un-plowed snow.

It was an adventure.

We were so busy. At one point, we had to tell people that it was going to take almost 2-hours to pick up an order.

WHAT!??!?

Two-hours?

Yes. At least two hours.

We’re pretty thankful for how busy we were…. we are…. and hopefully how busy we will be in the future. 🙂

Wow! That’s great. Be thankful, most people are experiencing the opposite. Happy Holidays and keep up the great blogging!

That is awesome! Just think, by being open you’re providing a much needed service for everyone. We can only stand staying indoors for so long. I wish I had your pizza place around the corner — I’d live there!

  3. Baker City is so tough on resterants that I that this news makes me very happy.
