Cinco de Mayo

Woke up to snow this morning. It began at about 4 a.m. and hasn’t let up yet.

Max was none too happy about it, either.

(he shreds the junk mail for me)

I’m guessing it’s going to be slow at the restaurant today.

I finally purchased Cesar Millan’s latest book…

Guess who’s the final “Success Story” ???

HAH! Whitey just laughed when he saw it was published. Barkley was embarrassed, and Max? He just wanted to eat it.

I’m living vicariously through one of our front gals (Kristen) lately. She recently bought her first new car and kept it under her budget. She’s moving into her own (very cute) house, and is halfway through her week-long vacation with her boyfriend. I think they’re at the coast right now — driving around Oregon and visiting places they’ve never been. I’d love to take a week off to just drive and visit a few cities.

I’m excited about helping her to decorate her house. It reminds me of moving into my own place for the first time without roommates, except her place is much nicer.

I’ll end with a photo of James with his first perfect slice pie. Look at how beautifully OCD it is:

Nice.
