Texting and Driving

I tell our crew to not text and drive. In fact, to not even leave their phone on the seat, but keep it in their pocket so that they aren’t tempted to read a text that’s sent…

to pull over if needed so that they can respond.

Texting and driving is dangerous and stupid.

Recently, I was the passenger in a vehicle driven by someone who was texting. It scared the bejeezus out of me, to the point where I was clenching my fists and finally had to close my eyes so as not to see the car swaying in and out of its lane.

You’d be just as stupid to close your eyes completely for six seconds at a time while driving.

It is against the law here in Kansas as of the new year. I am fine with that. Hope all is well.
